Baton Rouge, La. (5/22/203) – The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) reported two people are dead, and one person was injured in two separate shooting incidents overnight.
On Sunday, May 21, 2023, BRPD responded to a call of shots fired, around 10:30 pm the 12000 block of Province Place near Old Hammond Highway. Upon arrival, officers found one person deceased.
On Monday, May 22, 2023, BRPD responded to a call of shots fired, around 12:45 am, on West McKinley Street near Nicholson Drive. Upon arrival BRPD found one deceased. Another victim was taken to a local hospital in the Baton Rouge area with non life threatening injures.
