Baton Rouge, LA (September 8, 2024) – Baton Rouge Police Homicide Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that took place early this morning. The incident occurred outside the AM Mart, located at 2400 Highland Road.
The victim, identified as 40-year-old Donald Trim, was standing with family members outside the AM Mart when an unknown suspect opened fire on the group. Trim was the only person hit by gunfire and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet identified a suspect in the Baton Rouge fatal shooting at 2400 Highland Road. This tragic event is under active investigation.
