Carencro, LA (4/2/2023) – The Barnes Academy 7u Cutters of Alexandria traveled to Carencro, Louisiana, this weekend to play in the Select Super NIT: Cajun Classic Baseball Tournament.
The Cutters defeated LA Reign 7U and Team Louisiana Navy 7U on Saturday; on Sunday, they defeated Louisiana Titans 7U to secure their standing in the playoff game.
The Cutters fell short by one point in the championship after battling it out in a nine-inning game and placed second. The boys played competitive ball this weekend, and the parents look forward to their continued growth under the coaching of Devin Barnes.
