Marksville, La. (Sept. 29, 2025) – The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO) is asking for the public’s help in locating Michael Wayne Murray, 32, who is wanted on multiple felony charges.
- Authorities say Murray is wanted for:
- Second Degree Battery with Intent to Cause Serious Bodily Injury
- Distribution/Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance
- Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm
- Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance (Alprazolam)
The Sheriff’s Office stated that anyone with information about Murray’s whereabouts, or any related criminal activity, should contact them immediately. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
