Alexandria, La. (6/25/2025) – An apartment unit at Harmony Village on Sunset Drive in Alexandria was struck multiple times by gunfire early morning Tuesday, June 24, 2025, according to multiple residents. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The Alexandria Police Department confirmed the incident and stated that detectives are actively investigating.
Residents reported hearing several shots, with one unit sustaining visible damage. According to witnesses, a family of four, including small children, lives in the apartment that was hit.
One resident noted that the bullet holes could be seen from the outside. Another resident said they did not believe the gunfire came from a drive-by shooting due to the angle and location of the apartment units.
