AMBER Alert Issued in Tangipahoa Parish for Missing Children

Tangipahoa Parish, LA (6/13/2024) — Louisiana State Police have issued an AMBER Alert following the abduction of two young girls, Erin Brunett, 3, and Jalie Brunett, 6, from their home at 56044 N. Cooper Road in Loranger earlier this morning.

The girls were last seen before 8:00 a.m. Erin Brunett is described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes, approximately 3 feet tall, and weighing around 32 pounds. Jalie Brunett is a white female with brown hair and blue eyes, approximately 4 feet tall, and weighing about 58 pounds. The clothing they were wearing at the time of the abduction is unknown.

Authorities are seeking an unknown white male for questioning in connection with the abduction and a related domestic violence incident that resulted in a homicide. The suspect is believed to be driving a black 2012 Chrysler 200 with Louisiana license plate 859GML. The vehicle is notable for lacking a hubcap on the back right tire and possibly having damage to the rear.

CAUTION: THE SUSPECT IS CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
