Alexandria, LA (July 18, 2025) – The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a alleged narcotics-related homicide following a deadly shooting Thursday night in the 1200 block of Warshauer Street.
Officers were dispatched around 10:30 PM after reports of gunfire in the area. When they arrived, they discovered a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim, identified as Antonio Daniels, 28, of Alexandria, was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
According to investigators, preliminary evidence suggests the incident is narcotics-related. No suspects have been named at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
