Alexandria, LA (6/29/2023) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD)is asking for the Public’s help in identifying a male suspect in the attached picture. The picture was taken from the Green Meadow Drive area in Alexandria, Louisiana.
On June 29, 2023, at 01:00 P.M., the APD was called to the area of Green Meadow Drive in Alexandria, LA, about an unidentified male who attempted to abduct a six-year-old child and lead the child to an adjacent wooded area. The child was able to break free from the assailant and was not harmed. The suspect fled the area before police arrived. It is unknown whether the suspect’s mode of transportation was on foot or by vehicle.
The suspect is described as a male, approximately 40 years old. The race of the suspect is undetermined.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
