Alexandria, La. (2/27/2026) – Alexandria State Champions 2026 delivered a historic weekend for ASH Trojans Track and Field. Two student-athletes claimed state titles and elevated Central Louisiana on the indoor stage.
First, senior Noelle Williams captured double gold in Division I competition. She won the long jump with a mark of 18-03.25.
Then she secured the triple jump title with a leap of 39-02.25. As a result, Williams closed her indoor season as a Double State Champion. She attacked each runway with confidence and precision.
Meanwhile, sophomore Joseph Carter Rivet dominated the shot put circle. He launched a throw of 60-09.50 to win the 2026 State Championship. More importantly, he shattered a 20-year-old LSU Indoor State Meet record.
The previous record belonged to ASH alumni Will Phillips. Therefore, Rivet continued a Trojan legacy while writing his own chapter in history.
Together, these performances highlight the strength of Alexandria athletics. In addition, they show the discipline and preparation inside the ASH program. The Trojans continue to produce elite competitors who rise on the biggest stage.
