Alexandria Shooting on Pisciotta Street

Alexandria, LA (8/11/2024) – On Saturday night, a shooting incident occurred in the 4100 block of Pisciotta Street, located in Alexandria’s Acadian Village Neighborhood.

The Alexandria Police Department responded to the scene around 11:27 PM, where they found an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim received medical attention on the scene and was transported to a local hospital with injuries.

The nature of the shooting, whether random or targeted, has not been disclosed by the Alexandria Police. The motive and suspect details remain unclear as the investigation continues.
