Alexandria, LA (3/23/2023) – To clear up some misinformation put out by the Mayor at the last Alexandria City Council Meeting that we are not sure the administration wants to be cleared up.
Chief Ronnie Howard is transitioning to a new position in the administration as a deputy commissioner.
This brings truth to Mayor Jaques Roy’s vague comments at the city council meeting about getting a new chief. Our sources are directly involved in this process.

Chief Howard will focus on gun violence, audit, and internal affairs for public safety, juvenile services, and liaison to other law enforcement agencies.
