Alexandria, LA (6/18/2023) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD) released some details Willow Glen River Road Mass Shooting.
On Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 9:35 PM, the APD was dispatched to 3323 Willow Glen Road regarding shots fired. Responding officers discovered that four people had been shot.
Lakeisha Hayward, 37, of San Antonio, Texas, died on the scene. Three other individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment of life–threatening injuries.
According to sources, the shooter was supposedly killed in the 300 Block of East Shamrock Street in Pineville on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
