Alexandria, LA (3/22/2023) – According to the Rapides Parish Inmate Inquiry System, an Alexandria man was arrested by the Alexandria Police Department (APD).
Sources on the scene said Zareyah Armstead, 19, was transported to a local hospital by Acadian Ambulance Service in what they believe to be critical condition. Souces said Zareyah died a short time later.
Jo’Quarious O. Davis, 20, of Alexandria, Louisiana, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder by APD.
Multiple sources at the chaotic scene on Culpepper today around 4:00 pm said APD Officers were looking for the suspect involved in the brutal murder on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, on Llewellyn Drive.
