Alexandria man arrested for rape, bond set at $750,000

Alexandria, La. (10/28/2022) – On September 15, 2022, RPSO Deputies responded to a report of possible criminal sexual conduct involving a juvenile.  The case was then turned over to Special Victims Unit (SVU). 

The SVU investigation identified a suspect as Brandon Artrail Perry, Sr., 36, of Alexandria. 

The Children’s Advocacy Center (CASA) and Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) supported SVU Detectives in their investigation. SVU Detectives were able established sufficient probable cause. Warrants were obtained for Perry’s arrest for one count First Degree Rape, two counts of Molestation of a Juvenile (Victim Under 13), and three counts of Aggravated Crime Against Nature (Victim Under 13).

On October 28, 2022, Perry was taken into custody without incident and arrested on outstanding warrants.  Perry was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center, and a bond was set at $750,000.  Perry remains in jail at the time of this release.
