Alexandria, La. (11/14/2022) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD) arrested a man wanted for murder and attempted murder on Enterprise Road. The shooting happened on Sunday, November 13, 2022.
Two victims were found a 51-year-old woman who was fatally shot and a 63-year-old male who was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The identity of the deceased victim is being withheld pending notification of the family members.
Marion Peterson, age 71, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder, one count of attempted second-degree murder, and two counts of contempt of court. The shootings occurred in the 1300 block of Enterprise Road.
According to the Rapides Parish Inmate inquiry system, Peterson’s bond is $1,503,000.00.
