Alexandria, LA (10/21/2023) – The Alexandria Police Department secured and is investigating a shooting on Kelly Street.
On Friday, October 20, 2023, multiple residents reported hearing gunfire around 7 p.m. One resident describes the sounds as a shootout.
According to one resident on Kelly Street, at least one person was transported to a local hospital in unknown conditions. APD Officers were seen canvassing the area, taking photos of vehicles parked on the street damaged by gunshots, and talking to residents.
