Alexandria, LA (11/1/2023) – The Alexandria Police Department reported a 19-year-old man was shot and killed on Willow Glen River Road.
On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at approximately 4:12 AM, APD responded to the 700 block of Willow Glen in reference to an individual suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim, later identified as 19-year-old Eric Sykes of Alexandria, LA, was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
