After yesterday’s deputy-involved shooting, UrbanCast would like to update our community with what we know about what happened.

1. There was a deputy-involved shooting that resulted in death.
2. There is a video circulating online showing the incident. Out of respect for the victim and the family, we have not shared it on our page.
3. There has been no official statement yet on the deputy’s name; the deputy has been placed on administrative leave.
4. There will be a Peaceful Gathering on 7th Street & Broadway at 5 pm this evening.
