Monroe, La. (10/8/2022) – According to the Monroe Police Department (MPD), shortly after 7:30 pm on October 3, 2022, a hit-and-run driver killed a bicyclist in the 7900 block of Desiard Street.
The initial investigation showed that a victim traveling east on Desiard Street on a motorized bicycle was struck by a 2010 to 2013 black Toyota Tundra. The adult male victim on the bike died due to their injuries.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing. Photos of the suspect vehicle were captured on camera.
