Alexandria, LA (11/03/2024) – A shooting on Jacobs Alley in Alexandria occurred on Saturday morning, leaving one person injured.
At around 9:16 a.m. on November 2, 2024, Alexandria Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 300 block of Jacobs Alley. Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was then transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Alexandria Police Department has not disclosed the current condition of the victim. They have also not confirmed whether the incident was isolated or if it poses a threat to residents in the area. The motive for the shooting on Jacobs Alley in remains unclear, and the investigation is ongoing.
