Richland Parish, LA (8/12/2024) – Last night, Louisiana State Police were called to investigate an officer-involved shooting in Delhi. The incident occurred shortly before 11:00 p.m. on Highway 17.
Detectives from the Louisiana State Police Criminal Investigations Division are actively working at the scene. They are collecting evidence and gathering more information about the shooting.
One individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, no officers were injured during the incident. This remains an active investigation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
