Alexandria, LA (5/15/2023) – According to multiple residents of the Charles Park neighborhood, two Alexandria men were arrested for a string of burglaries.
UrbanCast confirmed the information with automated public records provided by the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Damien Harris, 20, and Jalanious McCoy, 20, both of Alexandria, were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center #1 on Friday, May 12, 2023.
Harris is charged with four counts of simple burglary and probation violation. Harris’s bond was set at $18,500.
McCoy is charged with four counts of simple burglary, three counts of contempt of court, burglary of an inhabited dwelling, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. McCoy’s bond was set at $78,000.
