Pineville, LA (9/29/2023) – The Pineville Police Department reported a 19-year-old man suspected of attempted second-degree murder was arrested.
Donnell Jones of Alexandria, Louisiana, was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.
At 12:17 PM, the PPD received a report of a shooting in the 300 block of
Sanders Street. Upon the arrival of patrol officers, one victim was located suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
The scene was secured, and PPD Investigators began conducting their investigation.
A PPD spokesperson said more information will be released as it becomes available.
