New Roads, La. (11/19/2022) – According to the Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff’s Office (PCPSO), a boy, 13, was killed by a stray bullet. Two men were arrested. The shooting occurred Friday, November 18, 2022.
Donell Francois Jr. and Quentin Leonard ll were arrested on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022. Francois and Leonard were charged with illegal discharge of a firearm and manslaughter.
The name of the 13-year-old has not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
