PINEVILLE, La. (12/12/2024) – Wreaths Across America at Alexandria National Cemetery will honor veterans with a wreath-laying ceremony on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Volunteers will gather to place wreaths on graves, remembering the sacrifices of those who served.
The ceremony begins at 11:00 AM, but volunteers are welcome to assist with unboxing wreaths starting at 8:00 AM. This annual event unites the community in a shared mission to remember fallen heroes, honor those currently serving, and teach the value of freedom to the next generation.
After the ceremony, the AmVets Post 7 in Alexandria will serve gumbo at the Pavilion, creating an opportunity for fellowship. This gathering coincides with the Army vs. Navy Game, adding a celebratory element to the day.
