Wednesday’s Weather (2/1/2023)

This morning, the map shows a cold front pushing a little further south this morning across the northern Gulf of Mexico, with north to northeasterly winds now at all coastal sites across the Louisiana coast.

Radar showing a few patches of very light rain over Southeast Texas and Central Louisiana. Temperatures range from the upper 30s across Inland Southeast Texas/Central Louisiana to the lower/mid-40s along and south of the I-10 corridor.

Intermittent light rain will continue for most Southeast Texas and Central Louisiana today and tonight, thus in agreement with the high chances of precipitation. With the cold air advection and total cloud cover, not expecting temperatures to rise much today.

Only reaching the upper 30s to lower 40s north of U.S. 190, mid4 0s to near 50 along the I-10 corridor, and upper 50s across South Central Louisiana.
