Alexandria, LA (6/25/2024) — The suspect involved in the armed robbery and deputy-involved shooting on June 22, 2024, has been identified as 40-year-old Jason Lambert of Woodworth.
Lambert was transported from the scene by Acadian Ambulance to a local hospital on the night of the incident. Despite medical efforts, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Sheriff’s Detectives have stated that their investigation into the incident is still ongoing. Further details will be released as they become available.
