Alexandria, LA (May 3, 2024) – Late Thursday night, on May 2, 2024, the 2800 block of 3rd Street in Alexandria was shattered by the sound of gunfire according residents in the area. The Alexandria Police Department responded to a distress call from a local hospital regarding two individuals suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
According to a report from the Alexandria Police Department (APD), the shooting incident occurred at approximately 11:30 PM. The victims, whose identities have not been disclosed, were transported to the hospital for medical treatment following the incident.
