The front is through the region with the exception of the far southeastern offshore waters where a few showers remain. Expect this to move out of the area in the next couple of hours.
In the wake of the front, daytime highs only cool by several degrees with middle 60s across central LA and around 70 degrees for S LA. Winds will be out of the northwest with mostly sunny skies, so shaping up to be a pretty nice day.
On Friday, winds turn from the northeast and become breezy. Temps will also be much cooler, with highs in the upper 50s. SFC low pressure will gradually be developing in the western Gulf with showers possible by late afternoon or early evening as isentropic lift increases ahead of the system.
