Shreveport, LA (4/25/2023) – The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) reported on April 12, 2023, SPd Violent Crimes detectives were contacted about a female pouring a harmful substance into a person’s drink in the 200 block of Lake Street.
During this investigation, Dominique Jones, 21 was observed on video footage that reportedly showed Jones putting industrial-strength bleach in the victim’s Coke bottle. Later the victim took a drink.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Jones for one count of Mingling Harmful Substances.
Jones was taken into custody and booked into city jail on April 24, 2023.
Due to the changes in the Law that deem this a non-violent crime, the SPD is not legally allowed to release the offenders booking photo.
