Alexandria, LA (8/16/2023) – Alexandria Police Department confirmed shots were fired at Broadway Avenue and Jones Street intersection.
On Monday, August 14, 2023, at approximately 07:35 PM, the Alexandria Police Department was called to Broadway Avenue and Jones Street intersection about several gunshots being exchanged between two vehicles at that intersection.
When officers arrived at the scene, they learned that both vehicles had fled the area.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
