Who: The Rapides Parish School Board’s students, faculty, and staff, along with Central Louisiana businesses, organizations, military branches, higher education centers, LDOE personnel, and state officials.
What: The Rapides Parish School Board is hosting the third annual “Elevate Your Future” job fair that will gather more than 1,000 seniors and juniors as they seek to learn more about the workforce options in Central Louisiana and how the workforce can benefit them now and in the future. This event will help graduating and rising seniors recognize the employment opportunities that are available to them, with opportunities to engage, empower, and elevate their future.
Where: The job fair will be held at the Alexandria Mega Shelter, located at 8125 US-71 in Alexandria, LA 71302.
When: Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 8 A.M. – 1:30 P.M. The job fair will begin at 8 A.M. promptly. RPSB faculty, staff, and students, along with participators in the job fair, will be available for live TV and radio interviews during/following the job fair.
