Rapides Coroner’s Office confirmed an unidentified body was found on Wheelock Street; no report from the City of Alexandria

Alexandria, La. (8/29/2023) – The Rapides Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed an unidentified body was found on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

The Coroner’s spokesperson said an autopsy was scheduled.

We requested additional information from city officials; however, the request was unanswered.
