Pineville, LA (12/3/2023) – The Pineville Police Department (PPD) is investigating a crash that occurred late last evening near Buhlow Lake and across from Pineville High School.
A Senior Pineville Official said a pursuit that turned into a wreck is under investigation and that they won’t have anything until tomorrow after a reconstruction of the crash is completed.
A witness to the crash said a police unit was chasing a dark compact SUV riding with the lights off in the fog, the dark SUV crashed into a white truck head-on. The witness said on impact, one vehicle burst into flames.Â
The crash occurred around 11:00 pm, Saturday, December 2, 2023.
