Alexandria, La. (10/22/2022) – According to the City of Alexandria’s Utility Department, some residents have received a call stating they were due a credit. The scam call stated the customer was due a credit due to estimated bills and asked the called person to press “1”.
This is a scam and the calls are not from the city.
