Denham Springs, La. (10/6/2023) – Recently, Agents with The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division received information regarding the distribution of fentanyl and methamphetamine from a residence on Burgess Road near Crossover Road in Denham Springs by Lawson Beadle.
Sheriff Jason Ard says, ‘Agents began investigating, ultimately securing a search warrant for the residence. Agents conducted a traffic stop with Beadle prior to executing that residential search warrant, where he was found to possess a quantity of Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Alprazolam and a handgun concealed on his person. Through the course of the investigation. Agents seized the following:
37.1 grams of fentanyl with 64 bags being packaged for sale (nearly 150 lethal doses)
97 grams of methamphetamin
220 dosage units of Alprazolam
2 grams of marijuana
(1) Glock 9mm handgun
(1) .22 Caliber rifle
(1) .17 Caliber rifle$1,129 U.S. Currency
