Lafayette, LA (4/14/2024) — Lafayette Police Department has identified two of the victims in Friday’s tragic triple homicide as Brandon Touchet, 45, of Lafayette, and Eric Green, 49, also of Lafayette.
The third victim in the case has not yet been identified.
According to officials, all three victims were shot and killed.
One suspect, Chad Credeur, 42, of Duson, has been apprehended on a warrant for first-degree murder in connection with these murders. Credeur is currently being held in the Jeff Davis Parish Jail on unrelated charges.
The case remains under active investigation by law enforcement. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
The investigation began on 4/12/2024, when Lafayette Police Department responded to a welfare concern in the 700 block of South College Road in Lafayette. Authorities received the call around 5:26 p.m. Upon arriving at the residence, officers attempted to contact the person of concern. However, upon entering the home to conduct a search, they discovered the three deceased individuals, according to LPD.
