Hey kids! Get ready to reel in some fun on Saturday, June 1, as three fishing derbies offer you the chance to fish for free! Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a first-time fisherman, mark your calendars for this exciting opportunity.
The first event, the Catahoula Fishing Derby, will take place at Stuart Lake in Grant Parish. Next up is the Winn Fishing Derby, held at Bombing Range Pond in Winn Parish.
Lastly, anglers can head to the Kisatchie Fishing Derby at Anderson Pond in Natchitoches Parish.
Interested participants can find informational flyers and pre-registration forms on our website. While pre-registration is required for the Catahoula and Winn Fishing Derbies, no pre-registration is needed for the Kisatchie Ranger District Fishing Derby.
