Total Alexandria 2023 Shootings: 8; Deaths: 1; City District: #4
Alexandria, LA (1/29/2023) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD) reported two teens were shot outside of IHOP on Friday, January 27, 2023.
Upon APD Officers’ arrival at the IHOP located in the 2700 Block of South MacArthur Drive, they found two male teens suffering from non-life-threatening injuries in the business’s parking lot.
Police said a group of teens were on the inside of the establishment; they then went outside into the parking lot, and a vehicle passed by the group and opened fire, hitting two teens.
The investigation is ongoing.
