Pollock, LA (1/14/2023) – The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office (GPSO) reported on its Facebook page, a deputy was arrested.
Billy Gentry, III, 39 years old, of Pollock, Louisiana was arrested by the GPSO for Malfeasance in Office and Simple Battery.
Gentry was assigned to the Grant Parish Detention Facility when it was determined that he unjustifiably used a Taser on an inmate at the facility.
Gentry was terminated from his position as a result of the incident.
