LEESVILLE, La. (3/The former Leesville Chief Deputy Marshal arrested on March 26 faces charges of theft and malfeasance in office.
Louisiana State Police began investigating in December after requests from Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office and Leesville City Marshal’s Office.
Investigators discovered Kim Pollock allegedly stole about eighty-two thousand dollars from September twenty-two through December twenty-four.
On March twenty-six, authorities obtained a warrant for Pollock’s arrest. He was taken into custody without incident this morning.
Pollock was booked at the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office and is now facing charges for theft and official misconduct.
The former Leesville Chief Deputy Marshal arrested will be investigated further by Louisiana State Police, who lead the case.
