Areas of dense fog which may reduce visibility to 1/4 (one-quarter) mile or less are possible in much of the area tonight. Development is expected to quickly take place after midnight, thus the advisory is valid from 1 AM to 9 AM tomorrow morning.
A Marine Dense Fog advisory is also in effect from now until 12 PM tomorrow as areas of marine fog may reduce visibility to 1/4 (one- quarter) nautical mile in near-shore waters and in lakes and bays.
New Year’s Eve Day will have fog, possibly dense at times, in the morning. Expect the fog to dissipate by late morning into the afternoon. Daytime highs will be in the middle 60s to around 70 degrees. Winds will be from the west/southwest 7-12 MPH.
