Chattanooga, Tn. (11/1/2022) – Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) responded to a call of a possible active shooter Sunday night at the Shallowford Road Post Office. Responding officers located a deceased man who’d been shot, after searching the building.
Cody Ransom, 30 was killed by Brian Simmons according to CPD.
Police were told an employee shot his supervisor and fled the scene following a heated argument. A short time later, police located the suspect at 5241 Hwy-153 deceased. He had crashed into the business at this location.
