Central Louisiana weather forecast predicts a hot and humid work week ahead. Daily rain chances will increase as the week progresses.
Early in the week, rain chances are lower, with central Louisiana seeing less than 15% on Tuesday. By Thursday and Friday, rain chances rise to 50% in central Louisiana.
While locally heavy rain is possible with individual storms, average rainfall amounts will likely be less than an inch each day.
The heat index will range from 100° to 109° throughout the week. Winds will be light, coming from the east to southeast at 4-8 MPH.
