Alexandria, La. (10/4/2022) – According to The Rapides Parish School System, Bolton High School implemented a heightened security level on recommendations from Alexandria Police Department. A shooting occurred in the neighborhood, and APD is actively pursuing an assailant.
At this point there is no specific threat to the school.
