Baton Rouge, LA (3/7/2023) – Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) reported a 12-year-old was arrested.
BRPD Detectives arrested a 12-year-old male suspect this morning for shooting his father on Monday, March 6, 2023, around 3:11 pm in the 8000 Block of Jefferson Hwy. The juvenile shot his father after having a disagreement.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 12-year-old was booked into East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention for Attempted 2nd Degree Murder and Illegal Use of a Weapon.
