Covington, La. (11/28/2022) – Covington Police Department arrested a man in connection with a double homicide. The bodies were found in the 500 Block of East Gibson Street; the two victims were burned beyond recognition.
Antonio Donde Tyson, 49, of Covington, Louisiana, was taken into custody and booked with the following charges:
2 counts of LRS 14:30, First Degree Murder
2 counts of LRS 14:44.1, Second Degree Kidnapping
2 counts of LRS 14:130.0, Obstruction of Justice
1 count of LRS 14:108 B1C, Resisting an Officer
1 count of LRS 14:69, Illegal Possession of Stolen Things

The investigation is ongoing, and the identification of the victims has not been determined.
