Alexandria, LA (1/30/2023) – Alexandria Police Department (APD) is seeking public help locating the driver of a white van. The van driver is suspected of shooting and killing a man on Magnolia Street.
New Information: APD has determined the white van also has a liftgate attached to the rear of the vehicle.
On Friday, January 20, 2023, at approximately 1:22 am, APD Officers responded to 12th Street and Magnolia Street about shots fired with a subject being shot.
It was discovered that the shooter was driving a very similar Ford/Chevrolet work van (as shown in the picture). The van is described as white with no windows on the two rear panels. The van is also supposed to have a cage/screen separating the cab and the cargo area.
Alfred King was later pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
Witness described the shooter as a black male 30-45 yrs of age with a balding hairline.
