Alexandria, LA (3/15/2023) – Multiple neighbors reported the sounds of rapid gunfire coming from the Essie Street Area on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Essie Street is located one block away from the POA Complex.
Multiple neighbors in the area reported this gunfire around 9:30 pm last night.
A neighbor said, “I’m tired of jumping to the floor when I hear the sounds of gunfire; this has been going on for too long.”
Alexandria Police Department (APD) confirmed the reports of gunshots on Essie Street.
APD Officers’ found no one had been injured, and no suspect was identified.
