Alexandria, LA (8/23/2023) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD) reported a shooting on Railroad Avenue.
On Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at approximately 1:20 a.m. APD was called to the 1000 block of Railroad Avenue about someone being shot.
Through the investigation, it was learned that a residence had been shot several times, and one person inside the residence had suffered a gunshot wound. The victims were transported to Rapides Regional Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
This is currently an ongoing investigation.
